FOR SALE
Two Ralt RT-5 Formula Super Vees
The above two beautiful ground-effects RT-5 Formula Super Vee cars are being offered for sale.
They are both in excellent,
race-ready mechanical condition. Not having been raced for several years
(but stored in climate controlled shop), they would need to be serviced
before racing; i.e. new tires, current seatbelts, and a logbook plus
requisite inspection obtained by the intended sanctioning
body.
Engines in both cars start
and run fine with great oil pressure. See below for their
respective history. Serial #677 car's engine is Dyno fresh,. Car
serial #510 engine has three races on it.

"70 On 70"
Larry's
70th birthday prompted a party with a twist. He drove the RT-5
onto I-70 for an epic "70 On 70" lap. (Some may say
"epic" isn't the appropriate label. Oh well, it was a hoot.)

#510
as it is today.
|
After
the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, it was determined the engine was a bit
soft. So the superior NZ billet crank and improved Link Engine
Control Unit (Same as used on the #45 car's engine in
2013) were sourced from
NZ for the engine rebuild.. There is virtually zero time on that engine
today.
What
follows below are body off pictures taken at the time of the 2015 engine
rebuild,
